About The Feldenkrais Movement Center

Kelli Tennyson Tonko is a Guild-Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner/Teacher and a graduate of the Boston Feldenkrais Professional Training Program, which is accredited by the Feldenkrais Guild of North America (certification requires 800-1000 hours of training over four years and continuing education annually).

She came to the Feldenkrais Method after eight years as a professional modern dancer performing in the US, Asia and Eastern Europe. She teaches Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes throughout the Twin Cities and maintains a private practice in Functional Integration.

Kelli is also a Certified Tai Chi for Arthritis Instructor. Tai Chi for Arthritis is a program developed by Dr. Paul Lam, medical doctor and Tai Chi expert, based on the Sun-Style of Tai Chi Chuan. Kelli's Tai Chi and Qigong training also includes ongoing study of Yang Traditional Long form Tai Chi Chuan, Yiquan, Tai Chi ruler and walking meditation with Sifu Fong Ha of the Integral Chuan Institute of Berkeley, CA. As well as, her talented teachers at Normandale College: Professor Russell Smiley and Keith Root.
